Year 1 started looking at money. We looked at the shape, colour and value of each coin to help us recognise and name them. We also compared the values of the coins.
Over the past two weeks, year 1 have been measuring length, mass and capacity. Today in Year 2, we started learning to count in twos. It would be great to practise this at home for a few minutes every day so we can master this skill! Remember to keep practising counting in one’s up to 50 (up and down).
1 Humber went on a Spring walk this afternoon, hunting for signs of the season. We found lots of new flowers, blossom, green leaves, buds and even a butterfly and a bumble bee!
