On Friday, we had a fun afternoon of celebration and games to celebrate the coronation of King Charles III.
After lunch, we all watched some of the clips from the coronation before meeting in the hall. Year 3 & 4 performed a very special Coronation song to the whole school. All classes then went outside to play traditional ‘British’ games. Year 6 played Ladders, Year 5 played traditional races on the field, Year 3 were playing Boules! The children had an amazing time and all enjoyed a cool down treat part way through the afternoon.
