Gosford Park: Rise Enhanced Project

Dear Parents and Carers,

We are delighted to be hosting the Rise Enhanced Project in school over the Summer Term.

The aims of the Enhanced Project are to:

  • Increase awareness and understanding of mental health
  • Reduce stigma and misconceptions
  • Improve knowledge and skills of school professionals and parents
  • Build resilience and problem-solving skills in young people, parents and professionals

We are able to offer parent consultations with a clinician. During these sessions you can discuss any concerns you have about your child and seek advice, strategies and information about support that can be accessed. We have a limited number of consultations available so please contact the school office on 02476223281 to book one as soon as possible.

During the Summer term we will also be able to offer the following Parent information sessions;

Thursday 5th May  – supporting your child with Anxiety

Thursday 19th May – understanding Low Mood

Thursday 16th June – supporting Emotional Regulation

Thursday 7th July – understanding and supporting Sensory Needs

These sessions will run from 9am – 11am and do not need to be booked, there will be free refreshments available.
