The recent Apple update (August 2022) has a feature called Precise Location whereby the user’s exact location is pinpointed and shared on the following apps – Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat. The technology allows the actual building address to be shown. However, it is an auto turn on with users being unaware of its existence.
To turn off, go to settings, then the individual apps, then Precise Location. It will be showing green so needs to be toggled off.
