This half term Year 5 have been learning net and wall skills based around the sport tennis. Over the past weeks they have learnt their ABC’s of tennis, forehand and backhand, how to serve, the rules of tennis, sportsmanship, fair play values, amongst many other skills. In year 5, we have been learning how to convert improper fractions to mixed numbers. We have also begun to learn how to add and takeaway fractions.
Year 5 & 6 had the opportunity to perform an amazing dance at the Albany Theatre. A dance to celebrate the diversity within our community. The children were fantastic and made us very proud. check them out below!
