In Year 1 we have been learning all about multiplication and division. We have been counting in groups of 2’s, 5’s and 10’s using lots of different resources. We can recognise when a group is equal or not equal. We have been using stem sentences to explain our work – There are 20 apples. There are 5 in each group. There are 4 equal groups. We have been making arrays and understand the importance of rows and columns.
