To celebrate British Science week, the children in year 1 made their own wormery. The children loved getting outside to find the worms needed. We used layers of sand and soil inside a plastic bottle before adding some dry leaves so that the worms had plenty to eat. We will water the wormery over the next two weeks before checking to see how they have changed over time
