In the heart of Leicestershire, nestled amidst lush greenery, lies Twycross Zoo – a haven for wildlife enthusiasts and curious young minds. Recently, our Year 2 pupils embarked on an unforgettable trip to this remarkable zoo.
The zoo’s sprawling 100+ acres offered a diverse range of habitats. They learned about the delicate balance between flora and fauna, and how each habitat supports different species.
The highlight of the day? Up-close encounters with the animals! From cheeky monkeys swinging through trees to majestic tiger walking close, the children were mesmerized.
