We’ve had a great morning in 3 Baginton exploring lots of number and shape based activities.
We started off by completing a maths treasure trail around the school corridors. The children worked well in pairs to complete this. We came back in and created a class pictograms. The children were inspired by this and wanted to make a second one! We had lots of discussions around what they show and how we can use them. We then created our own 3D shapes out of marshmallows and sticks. We counted how many faces, edges and vertices each shape had. We finished the morning creating some shape picture of our own no colouring using 3D shapes.
Well done for a successful, fun morning 3 Baginton!
