Year 5 competed in a local competition for basketball at the AT7 Centre. It was shortened version of basketball and was 3 vs 3 game on half a court. We had an amazing morning and won 1, drew 1 and lost 1 in the group stages. This was enough for us to progress to the quarter finals. In the quarter finals we were trailing 2-0 until Taggy hit a 2 pointer for us to level and take control of the game. Unfortunately, as the referee blew for the game to finish, the other team scored a basket to clinch the win and knock Gosford Park out. The 5 Year 5’s were awesome all morning and represented the school superbly!
