8 children from Year 6 attended the East Coventry School Sport rowing competition this week. They had a great time and the children were thrilled to be able to represent the school. They came 4th out of 8 teams on the day with many of the children getting a personal best. The best girls rower was Emily with 336m and the best boys rower was Abdul with 336m. Emily said, ” When I got there it was huge and I was so nervous that I got goosebumps. When we started everyone was cheering each other on, which was really fun and it encouraged us to do better. We came 4th and all had a great time.”
